Snapline

Privacy policy

The short version

Snapline has no account, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics. The one thing you can send is a structure request, and only when you tap Send or add a vote; see Request a structure below.

What the app does on your device

All sixty structures are drawn and simulated on your device; the daily challenge is computed from the date, so it needs no server. The app shows no ads or third-party content. It uses the network for Request a structure, described below, and for the App Store to check and complete a purchase.

What stays on your device

This is stored in the app's own settings on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.

Request a structure

In Request a structure the app loads a short list that the developer writes (structure names and short descriptions, with vote counts). If you add a vote, the app sends which list item you chose. If you send a request, the app sends the name you typed, the audience you chose and the optional reason you wrote. That is all: no account, no device ID, no name, no email address and no location. The form asks you not to write personal details, and the app and server refuse text that looks like an email address, a web link or a phone number.

Snapline Unlock purchase

Snapline Unlock is bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and handles it under its own terms; Snapline never sees your card, name or email. The app only asks the App Store whether this Apple ID owns the unlock, so it can open the sets, and it remembers the last answer on your device. There is no account and nothing about your purchase is sent to the developer.

Share cards

A share card is drawn on your device. When you share it, it goes only where you choose, using the system's own share sheet. Snapline does not see where it goes and asks for no access to your photos.

Permissions

Snapline asks for none: no location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or tracking.

Children

Snapline is a puzzle for everyone and does not ask for personal information from anyone, including children. Requests are anonymous and ask people not to include personal details. There are no ads or accounts, and no links that lead out of the app other than the ones you choose in Settings (rating the app, help and this policy). Parents and guardians can write to us to ask about anything a child may have sent.

Changes and contact

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with the date. Questions: support@khangazun.com.
